As data comes into your assets and areas, it may be desirable to take specific actions. These These actions may include alerts, tight integrations with enterprise software applications, or true control commands on remote physical machines. Action types are configured when deep integrations are needed.
An action type is a prerequisite to event types. Action types have different actions which that users can use when creating a rule. The default action types are SMS, Email, Publish [MQTT] Message, Webhook, and Microsoft Teams. Consult with ClearBlade first to edit any of the default action types.
New action types require a background ClearBlade microservice to implement new integrations like ServiceNow. Please get in touch with ClearBlade or your IT for support.
