Targeting devices

Devices connecting to ClearBlade IoT should use the following URLs depending on their region. Additionally found below are the ROOT CA files are required to ensure 3rd party trusted TLS encryption.

Production URLs

MQTT (regional)

ports 443 and 8883

HTTP (regional: for device calls)

port 443

HTTP (global: for list registry calls)

 

Root CA

The ClearBlade IoT Core environments leverage DigiCert root certificates for SSL / TLS termination. The current root CAs from DigiCert can be downloaded here.

These Root CA files are listed valid until Jan 15, 2036

  • ECC DigiCert TLS ECC P384 Root G5 - For ECC support - 801 bytes

  • RSA DigiCert TLS RSA4096 Root G5 - For RSA support - 1959 bytes

NOTE: If your device is capable of either ECC or RSA, then please use ECC.

Replacement SDKS

ClearBlade is providing SDKs for drop-in replacement.

Due to the upcoming distrust date of the DigiCert G1 Root CA the below URLs and Root CAs are no longer recommended. More info
